Migration is nearly over…..now what?

Spring migration is nearly over.  Most birds have arrived at their summer breeding territories.  That means nesting and fledglings.  During the month of June, I like to drive around on country roads and look for birds that have settled in and are going about their family business.  In this area, it is fun to try and find different species of sparrows, UPLAND SANDPIPERS, BOBOLINKS, EASTERN MEADOWLARKS (and possibly a WESTERN), EASTERN KINGBIRD and who knows what else might show up.  Are you interested in joining me on such a drive in the country?  The trips so far this year have been on weekends, but this June trip I am going to try a weekday.  How about June 13th?  Interested?  If so, send me an email at theskins@rogers.com
