“Four Amigos”

In an email from Dave Martin (a birder from the Alymer area), he refers to the “four amigos”.  AMERICAN ROBINS, RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS, COMMON GRACKLES and KILLDEER.  These four bird species each seem to arrive around the same time in the spring. I have yet to see a Grackle or a Killdeer this spring.  But I imagine I will chance upon them soon.  Maybe tomorrow, who knows.
